Booking and cancellation terms and conditions for your stay

Hotel: The word “Hotel” refers to the Fairway Hotel & Spa | Arras Golf Course – 1000 rue Briquet Taillandier, 62223 Anzin-Saint-Aubin

The word “Customer” refers to the person making a booking for an overnight stay, for themselves or other people.

Booking terms

A credit card is required to guarantee your booking. This guarantee covers any full or partial cancellation, any no-show, and any damage observed by the Hotel during the Customer’s stay or after their departure, caused by them or any other people they might have booked a stay for in the Hotel.

We automatically charge a deposit to your card when booking:
For any stay for 1 to 3 nights: the full rate for 1 night
For any stay for 4 to 6 nights: the full rate for 3 nights
For any stay of over 7 nights: the full rate for 5 nights

Please provide us with a valid credit card number (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS), and the first name and surname of the card holder, the expiry date and the card security code.

Your room will be retained until the time of departure set by the hotel the day after the planned arrival.

Payment should be made directly to the hotel during your stay, unless otherwise mentioned (i.e. event periods or last-minute offers).

If your booking requires prepayment: unless otherwise mentioned, the invoices edited by the Hotel are deemed payable on receipt. If, after two reminders, the booking remains unpaid, the Hotel will release the room allocation and place the rooms on sale again. Any deposits received or due will not be refunded by the Hotel.

Check-ins are from 3.00 pm. Rooms must be vacated before noon on the day of departure at the latest.

A “late check-out” service is possible if booked in advance and agreed with the Hotel: this service costs €20 for every hour begun and thereafter. In the event of a late check-out without having informed the Hotel, the cost of the service is double (i.e. €40 for every hour begun and thereafter). If the check-out is after 3.00 pm, the Customer will have to pay the full price of an additional night as per the prices displayed on the day.

The reception is open 24 hours. For any check-in after 7.00 pm, we ask you to ring the hotel and warn us no later than the same morning.

In the event of a larger number of guests than the hotel can accommodate checking in and your room being unavailable, the hotel will provide the Customer with accommodation in a similar hotel in the area at its own expense for the night(s) in full and pay for the cost of the transport to this hotel.

Cancellation terms

Except for special terms mentioned on your booking, there is no fee for cancelling your booking 8 days before you check in.

For any cancellation between 3, up to 4.00 pm local time, and 8 days prior to check-in, we will charge 50% of the total amount of the stay booked to your credit card (with a maximum of 3 nights).

For any cancellation beyond that, or a no-show, the entire amount of the stay will be invoiced and automatically charged to the credit card you used as a guarantee.

Any breakfast booked and confirmed on check-in will be invoiced.

General terms and conditions

Please note that our “hotel and spa” is completely non-smoking, including rooms, even with the window open.

Smoking in hotels and restaurants is banned in France by law. This has been in application since 02/01/2008 in all public places, i.e. the whole of the hotel, when it is specifically mentioned that it is completely non-smoking.

Anyone found breaching this law faces a fine of €500 which will be charged directly to the credit card given as a guarantee (due to loss of turnover due to the hotel being unable to sell the rooms for 4 nights after the smoking guest checks out and the necessary cleaning of fabrics, carpet, and walls). In addition, any costs incurred by the hotel for refunds or for the annoyance of other guests caused by the fire alarm will also be charged to the credit card given as a guarantee.

The Customer is responsible for all the damage they cause (themselves or by any of the people for whom they have booked a stay in the hotel) and undertakes to pay for restoring the rooms to their former state if they are damaged.

Similarly, in the event of a group booking (3 rooms and more), if the hotel should suffer damages due to the Customer or any of the people for whom they have booked a stay, they are entitled to take legal action against the Customer and seek compensation for the damages suffered.
The Customer will be obliged to compensate the hotel for all the actions of the people for whom they booked a stay at the hotel and it will be up to them to take legal action against these people later if necessary.

Groups: for any booking of 5 rooms or more, special terms of sale may apply (rates, cancellation terms, payment terms).

For any occupation of 3 rooms or less, the hotel reserves the right to serve the continental breakfast only as room service.

We would like to inform our guests that the hotel does not accept payments by cheque.
