Discover the Cité Nature during your stay in Arras
A cultural and scientific centre
The Cité Nature was designed on a former industrial site to become a centre for discovering nature and the environment. There are 3 areas to discover:
- An insect area
- A nature area where you can immerse yourself in vegetation with animals of all kinds
- An area dedicated to the history of food and agriculture. Artefacts from yesteryear retrace more than 10,000 years of history.
It's the perfect opportunity to find out more about the region's natural riches.
Musical and cultural events are organised on a regular basis, with new activities taking place every month.
Activities to discover at the Cité Nature d'Arras
As well as visiting the heart of the Ciné Nature, you'll find:
- Permanent exhibitions on flora and fauna, ecosystems and soil conservation. They are all interactive and suitable for all ages.
- Temporary exhibitions on a wide variety of themes to raise public awareness of the need to take care of biodiversity and the environment.
- Activities for children, with fun, hands-on workshops.
- Conferences
