After a resounding success in 2023, the show “Vauban, la Citadelle” returns from August 16 to 18, 2024! We tell you everything you need to know!
Prepare to be immersed in the heart of the 17th century to discover the story of the Marquis de Vauban, a famous historical figure to whom we owe the famous Vauban citadels. More than 300 extras and 20 riders will put on the show with no fewer than 1,500 costumes. And what better place than the citadel of Arras, a UNESCO world heritage site, to host this spectacle?
Extend the immersion with a walk on the Place d’Armes in Arras where a period village awaits you offering numerous activities such as demonstrations of trades from yesteryear. You will also find an inn where you can enjoy gourmet specialties.
